I usually commute to the
university
by train and bus, partly because my hobbies include a great
interest
in railways and other kinds of transport.
I often take transport photos, as

Steam trains are always particularly attractive of course and it was great to see degoichi D51 498 passing Kazusa-Nakano in Chiba Prefecture in early February 2007. This locomotive was built in 1940 at Takatori Works, near Kobe and usually operates on the Joetsu Line.
