Our first October 2017 meeting was on the 1st October!


ALTs - Integrated Language Professionals or Frustrated Outsiders?

This meeting featured two current ALTs at schools in the Toyohashi/Hamamatsu area: Farrah Hasunein and Ashley Bartholomy.
The topics for discussion focussed on the challenges facing ALTs today in different schools where they teach, and their function
within the overall system, as seen by themselves, by the JTEs with whom they work, and by the Ministry of Education which
encourages their employment.
