On 4th October, I joined a class of students online at Sampoerna University
in Jakata, taught by a friend of mine, to talk about language and linguistics:


Yusuke, graduated in 2018 and is now teaching at a junior high school
in Toyohashi. On 3rd October he joined a teachers' group meeting, where
one of the presenters was James Venema.

In late February and early March I am involved in a tabunka (cross-cultural) course focussing on Thailand.
Due to travel restrictions, we cannot go there as planned, so we have organised various activities including
a gathering with young Thais living in Japan, which took place on 28th February:
