On 7th August, I joined two of the international students plus Professor Feng-lan Kuo
to see and try traditional Japanese washi papermaking at Obara, Toyota City:
International students also used Skype on18th July for a follow-up activity with students they had
met on 20th June:
June 20th saw five international students and I visit a special needs school
where one of my former students teaches. We enjoyed joining an English
class and learned a lot about the school from the teachers and students:
On 18th and 19th May, I was in Taiwan for the International Conference
on English Teaching and Learning at National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu
and on 20th May I visited our sister university, National Changhua University
of Education in Changhua. At the university, I met students, including
Ken (Mark) who spent a year at AUE and Professor Feng-lan Kuo:
