First, let me describe my job hunting. I applied to companies without focusing on any particular industry.
Specifically, I applied for jobs in leasing, trust banking, life insurance, non-life insurance, auto parts manufacturers,
machine tool manufacturers, and trading companies specializing in semiconductors. I submitted entry sheets to 57
companies. I received unsuccessful notices from 43 companies, declined offers or withdrew from 7 companies, and
finally received offers from 7 companies.

Next, I will describe the good and bad things about job hunting. The good things were that I was able to think
deeply about my own life, I was able to learn about the inner workings of various companies, which is difficult to
know in everyday life, and I was able to learn about my own strengths and weaknesses.

As for the first point, it gave me a chance to think about what I want to achieve in life when I enter the workforce.
And as I reflected on past events, I realized that I should have tackled things with a greater sense of purpose, which
changed the way I think about activities such as part-time jobs.

With regard to the second point, I feel that I was able to broaden my horizons by learning what kind of social
contributions companies are making and that there are many different types of jobs even for company employees.

As for the third point, I was especially aware of my weaknesses and decided to improve them in the future. In
addition, I believe that I was able to develop my skills on how to convey my personality in a short time and in what
order I should speak.

The challenging part was talking about the future. In order to get to know the company, I participated in internships
and information sessions, but I could only learn about the superficial aspects of the company, and it was difficult to
have a concrete image of working there. Because of this, I was not always able to write a convincing reason for applying,
and was sometimes rejected in the selection process.

The next section discusses how to conduct an interview. Due to the coronavirus, I had to do most of my jobhunting
process online. I am in favor of that. Since I was applying to many companies, it was easy for me to schedule interviews.
I attended events at three different companies in one day. I think the advantage is that it saves time and transportation costs.
I also feel that it is easier to relax when having an interview at home. On the other hand, there were times when I thought
a face-to-face interview would be better. If everything up to the final interview is conducted online, we won't get to know
the company's location and atmosphere until the very end. I think we should visit the company at least once and consider
how we would feel about working there.
