Multiple intelligences activities can be used with any age and level of language learner

Jane Nakagawa explained Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences theory and related learning styles research, suggesting that learners learn best, remember, perform, understand, and think in diverse ways.  Subsequently participants in this workshop/discussion explored how to effectively utilize multiple intelligences activities which fit their learners' ages, interests and abilities with the goals of increasing learner confidence, autonomy and motivation, promoting deeper and more memorable learning, and creating a lively, fun, supportive and meaningful classroom atmosphere for both students and teacher.
