Study Tour Leaders

From the Department of Geography, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany:
Dr. Lienhard Lotscher - originally from Switzerland and leading his second study tour to Japan.
Oliver Mayer - with a background both in Geography and Japanese, acting as facilitator and interpreter for this tour. It was also his second study tour with students. He is currently working on his doctorate, which is concerned with urban transport in Hiroshima.
In April 2001 joined Aichi University of Education as a Lecturer in German and European Culture. See him with fellow Europeans
From the Amsterdam Study Centre for the Metropolitan Environment, University of Amsterdam, Holland:
Dr Wim Ostendorf - with previous travel experience in China and Korea, this was his first visit to Japan.
