Study Tour from Germany and Holland

Doitsu to Oranda kara no Kengakuryoko

Fourteen Geography students from Amsterdam University in Holland and a further fourteen from Bochum University in the Ruhr, Germany, visited Japan in August to look at the planning and historical development, particularly of the major cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Students from AUE joined them on one hot day in Kyoto and looked at the new Kyoto Station and the historical area of Arashiyama in the west of Kyoto.
