Friday 5th March (pm): Link-up with students in Thailand.
As the final activity of the tabunka course, we had a 'Zoom' link-up
with students at Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Bangkok.
It was organised by JTB and gave a great opportunity for students
to really engage in cross-cultural communication.
After jiko shokai self-introductions, members of the groups in each country
gave presentations about aspects of their lives, particularly where they
are living and their university studies and lives more generally, as shown
in these pictures from the Thai end:
However, probably the most valuable part of the afternoon was when they were able to talk in groups with two
or three members on each side in breakout rooms, as shown here.
