February 2019 Hong Kong Study Tour

After a gap of a number of years, colleagues and I went to Hong Kong with a group of students
between 13th and 19th February to see English classes at three contrasting primary (elementary)
schools and to visit our sister university, the Education University of Hong Kong.

The first school we visited, on 14th February, was Hoi Pa Street Government School in Tsuen Wan.
We were met by a group of 'English Ambassadors' and were impressed by their achievements.
We saw two English classes and our students also taught students how to make origami.


The visit was organised by the Hong Kong Department of Education and we appreciate all
the efforts they and the school made.
