Intensive Course for Elementary
School Teachers: 16th-17th December 2017
What were the
main goals of the course:
1: To improve English skills, particularly
speaking, listening, pronunciation and vocabulary.
2: To increase cultural knowledge, especially
about festivals and holidays.
3: To see English as a lingua franca
(a common language).
Various teachers and international students gave presentations
on these topic areas, including Eric Hankin, who talked about
and demonstrated Hanukkah:
