Images of Poland
Part of the Wawel, the historic royal palace complex in Krakow (Cracow). Cracow Cathedral is in the background to the left and is the resting place of many Polish kings.
Standing in the Rynek Glowny (Central Market) of Krakow is the church of St. Mary. One of its famous features is a beautiful triptych (large altar display) which is unlocked every morning in front of crowds of visitors.
Still the highest building in Warsaw is the Palace of Culture, located next to Warsawa Glowny (Warsaw Central) station. A symbol akin to Stalinist towers in Moscow, you can see all of Warsaw (except this building itself!) from the top.lt
