Elizabeth Pike, assistant manager at the British Council in Nagoya kindly visited us again on 25th November. She talked to two classes -

With 2nd Years, she introduced the work of the British Council and also talked about voluntary work she has done, including teaching blind children in Indonesia. Students appreciated her visit, as indicated by comments such as these:

With 4th Years, she focussed on working experiences and different aspects of her job. She told us about a recent trip to Britain with journalists from Japanese newspapers, writing about science education at universities in Britain.
