August's Picture

Taken at the end of a hot August day, this picture shows Toyota Stadium (15 kms NE of the university) towering above ricefields in Toyota City. Completed in July 2001, the stadium has a maximum capacity of 45,000. As well as being the second home venue for J-league team, Nagoya Grampus Eight, it is a concert venue. Facilities include a swimming pool below the stadium.
