History:

JALT Toyohashi grew out of a need in the 1980's for a forum for exchanging ideas about teaching English in this city of more than 300,000 people. A prime mover in establishing it was Kazunori Nozawa, now at Ritsumeikan University but then teaching at Toyohashi University of Technology.
