I have lived in Toyohashi since I was born. Of course, I still live in Toyohashi and commute from this city to Aichi University of Education. Now, I talk about my home town "Toyohashi".

* Tram

In Toyohashi, trams run. The fare is one hundred and fifty yen wherever we go. The tram always runs slowly, so I can take it with an easy mind. And, there is a peaceful atmosphere in the tram.
I often take a tram in order to go from my home to Toyohashi station. One tram stop is near my house. It is a great convenience! The tram is indispensable to not only me but also all people of my town.

In summer, a "beer tram" runs. People who have reserved beforehand take the tram and eat foods and drink beer in the tram. Beside, people can do "karaoke" in the tram. Adults make a racket merrily. When I become twenty years old, I want to take the beer tram with my friends.

* Special product

Special product of Toyohashi is "chikuwa" (fish paste cooked in a bamboo-like shape). Especially, "chikuwa of Yamasa" is famous. It's delicious. I want everybody to eat "chikuwa of Yamasa".
