Ryoji is back studying at the university after almost a year in Boston, Massachusetts. He is shown "With my host family, Carole & Ray, and their friends. I was very happy to meet them there. I have no words that can adequately express my thanks for their unending generosity. I have thought Boston is my second hometown. Someday, I'll be back!"
