Auschwitz (Oswiecim in Polish) is infamous as the site of concentration camps established by the Nazis in the Second World War. It was a place where huge numbers of prisoners, including Gypsies (Roma), Jews, Poles, Russian prisoners of war and many others were incarcerated and murdered.

Now, it is a memorial to those people, with many visitors every day, including these young people from Israel seen at the original camp which had been Polish Army barracks before the war.
