America, South Korea and England are countries where I wanted to go for a long time. When I was a high school student, I went to America. Last summer I went to South Korea and this spring I went to England for about ten days.

I flew to Heathrow via Hong Kong. So this trip was not too expensive.

I visited London and Oxford. I stayed at hotels. At London I saw a friend of mine. She came down from St.Andrews to see me. She took me to some famous churches, park and palaces. I am not a Christian, but I love to visit churches because of the ornamentation. The sounds and stained glass are so beautiful. Some famous churches, for examples, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey are good. A church whose name I've forgotten, which I visited in the Cotswolds, is small but very lovely.

Oxford is very nice. Every student who I saw there looked very clever. I think the surroundings of the university are very different from those of Japan.

Some classmates went to foreign countries during this spring. Some of them went to language school there. I think it is a good idea, for you can make friends from other countries. If I have a chance, I want to try.

If possible, I want to go to America again this summer to see a host family who I saw six years ago.

I had a good spring vacation. I hope I can see my friend Anna again soon!
