Elizabeth Pike

Liz is Assistant Manager of the Nagoya Centre of the British Council and came to tell us about the British Council's work and objectives. We found out that as people's images of Britain are strongly influenced by traditional aspects, the organisation is now focussing on publicizing modern Britain.

Liz herself has lived in various places in the UK and first went abroad to do voluntary work in Indonesia. She previously worked as a teacher and teacher trainer and at Nagoya International Centre.
