James Venema
James is from Canada and graduated from university in Edmonton, Alberta. He leads a busy life in Nagoya, combining teaching part-time at a multitude of universities with other classes and other work. Although he is settled in Nagoya, married to a local lady, and now has three small children, he sometimes yearns for the wide open spaces of British Columbia where his family live. His hobbies include climbing.
James has shared his opinions with us on a variety of topics including history and lifestyle in Canada, and aspects of Japan, from countryside to music.
