He is the Japanese novelist who I like the best.
He was born in Tokyo in 1962. After he resigned from working at a publishers, he began to write novels in earnest. He has published a lot of works on the internet since 1997.
His novels are concerned with love or mystery.
He has published six books so far: ﾅgSeparationﾅh, ﾅgIma Ainiyukimasuﾅh, ﾅgRenaishashinﾅh, ﾅgHiromiﾅh, ﾅgSonotokiwa Kareni Yoroshikuﾅh,andﾅgSekaijuga Amedattaraﾅh.
I read ﾅgIma ainiyukimasuﾅh first because my father gave it to me for my birthday present. It is a mysterious story about a dead wife who comes to life in the rainy season. The novel was cinematized and hailed by many people. After that, Takuji Ichikawa made good as a novelist.
I like the story, but I like ﾅgSeparationﾅh the best. It was shown on television as a drama, ﾅgJuyonkagetsuﾅh. The wife of the hero changes back into a child and finally, she disappears. This falls into the genre of love story, but it is different. It is very unique and fantastic.
So, if someone reads his novels, he or she will be surprised by the unexpected discovery. Some of his novels don't have a happy ending. However, his novels will make you happy. So, please read his novels once.
