"I went to Canada, Toronto, last summer
during the summer vacation, from 8th August to 10th October. This
was the second time for me to go abroad, but I was so excited,
because I'd never experienced the opportunity to be surrounded
by English all the time. And then, I was also a little nervous,
but it was worrying for nothing!
My purpose of staying was to improve my English skills. So I
was commuting to a language school, the name is LSC.
In the school, I made a lot of friends who were so funny, and took some interesting courses. We had activities everyday, especially soccer and dancing party. Playing soccer was one of my favorite sports and it was so interesting. Brazilian guys were so good at soccer, and then, I thought soccer is language! While just playing soccer, our heart is one, and there are no languages. And, another is dancing!! I'd never really danced, but it was so amazing and in the seventh heaven while dancing.
Drinking alcohol helped me to speak English well, so I could be more active and talked to many people.
While I was staying at Canada, I went to many places, for example,
museum, movie theater, CN Tower and Niagara Falls, which are famous
for sightseeing, and so on. And I also travelled to Ottawa, Quebec,
Montreal and New York. Those travels were so exciting and left
good memories. Especially, I remember that at the hotel in New
York, my roommates and I drank beer while watching a football
game, I didn't know the rules though! Here is the picture. After
such good drinking, I went to bed soon. My host family was excellent.
My host mother was so kind and good at cooking. She was Italian,
so I could have a nice Italian dinner most everyday. She called
her family members to hold a party. At the party, they asked me
about Japan and Japanese things, but I couldn't answer the questions
well. I thought that I needed to know more about Japan.
Finally, I think I grew up, of course from the point of view
of English skills, but especially in spirit through this stay.
I met a lot of people and talked about many things, and I thought
about those things. I experienced a precious time, so I want to
appreciate everything.
