My hero is Ken who is a famous guitarist in Japan. He is a member of L'Arc~en~ciel. It's a Japanese rock band.
ﾅ@He was born in 1968 in Shiga. When heﾅ@wasﾅ@aﾅ@highﾅ@school student, he liked heavy metal. He went to his friend's home every day after school in order to listen to heavy metal music. One day, they bought guitars. His friend, Tetsu bought a bass. They practiced every day. They formed a rock band. But, Ken went to a university on Aichi. So their band dissolved. They formed another band separately. Ken placed a greater priority on playing the guitar than on passing test.
When he graduated from university, he received an invitation from Tetsu. He formed a new band, so he needed a guitarist. But, Ken said 'let me think.' After a week, Tetsu called him again. It was early morning. Ken felt very sleepy and he responded 'It's OK.' This new band is L'Arc~en~ciel.
They started to go into action at the heart of Osaka. Ken composed a lot of music. His song became famous songs of L'Arc~en~ciel. At one time they were getting more popular. In 1998, they became one of the most prominent Japanese bands.
They released a lot of CDs. Of course, these were almost all composed by Ken. His guitar play is wonderful. When I watched his play at first, I admired it. He always plays guitar with a smile. Whenever I look at it, it makes me happy. One day, Ken affected me. When I went to their concert, I was moved by his play. I decided to start practicing guitar. It is very difficult for me. It's incredible that Ken's fingers go so fast. Of course, I couldn't. I put up a bad fight every day. My goal is becoming able to play L'Arc~en~ciel's songs and be able to play a guitar like Ken.
