Miki Kanamori
Miki was my former 'zemi' student and is now working in Tokyo for
a major
travel agency company. Part of her job is to work with the
government's
Tourism Agency on its 'Wakatabi' project, which aims to encourage
young
people to gain more overseas experiences. On 12th February she
introduced
the session, mainly attended by English Education students, by
talking about
her own experiences:

She then introduced the main speaker, Masayuki Ichino, who has
travelled very
widely (to 80 countries) and who now operates a travellers' hostel
and cafe in
Nagoya. He gave an inspiring presentation.
