Picture of the Month: December 2018

Exeter Cathedral: In the south west of England,
this cathedral has its roots in the Norman Period (after the 1066
Norman Conquest).
However, under the guidance of a powerful late 13th century
bishop, Walter Branscombe, it was rebuilt to feature the longest
medieval
vaulted roof and the rebuilding took eighty years. Part of the
cathedral suffered a direct hit on 4th May 1942, during the Second
World War.
