February's Picture of the Month

On 4th February, I had an opportunity to visit classes at a junior
high school in Nishio, SE of the university.
Nishio is famous for green tea, shown here in the form of macha, the powdered kind which is whisked
      to
give a more foam-like consistency and which is more bitter than
every day ocha. Green tea is grown
      in areas
with a mild climate, and is particularly famous from Shizuoka
Prefecture, Uji near Kyoto, and Kagoshima Prefecture.
