October Picture of the Month: Roma Parklands



Roma Parklands provide respite from the bustle of urban activity in Brisbane, Queensland.
16 hectares in size, it was once an area used for aboriginal ceremonies, the present area
is a combination of a former park and railway land related to nearby Roma Street Station.

It includes memorials to 20th century wars, Gallipoli (1st World War), Tobruk (2nd World War)
and the Vietnam War.
